Scholarship Opportunities
The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation is excited to announce that our High School Hockey Scholarship applications are now open! Your player can apply online for the $10,000 High School Hockey scholarship, as well as the $10,000 John H. McConnell Scholarship, from now until the application deadline on January 15, 2024, at 12:00pm ET.
Please read the application requirements carefully and allow enough time to complete all requirements (essays, letters of recommendation, etc).

For any senior interested in the health care field, the OhioHealth Sports Medicine Foundation is proud to be awarding four, $1,000.00 scholarships. The application period is January 1st - February 28th, 2024. A decision will be made by April 15th, 2024.
Each applicant must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:
• Attend an OhioHealth Sports Medicine affiliated high school (Scioto, Jerome, and Coffman)
• Be a graduating high school senior
• Planning to enter a U.S. institution majoring in a health care related field

SENIOR NIGHT

Senior Night will be 1/7/2024 vs Kilbourne at 4:50pm @ Dublin Chiller.
Your player's senior board will be displayed in the lobby of the Chiller before and during the game.
Your player and family will also be introduced and honored prior to the start of the game.
Senior Boards - Ordering (Kim, Griffin’s mom)
Get your board ASAP from the Framing Center in Dublin. If you would like a customized board with your player's name and number, YOU NEED TO ORDER BEFORE 12/1. You can call to order or go in person to order. There is a 2-week turnaround time from order to when the board is ready for pick up. After 12/1, the company is no longer offering to customize boards with player's name and number. Boards after 12/1 will simply just say Jerome Celts. They have a handful of these boards in stock and you can just walk in and pick up.

Senior Boards - Assembly
Kim (Griffin's Mom) has arranged a Senior Creative board assembly session on December 10th (information below copied from her email that was sent to senior parents).

Here are some tips from Creative Paper Arts about senior boards:
- Your parents only need to bring their printed (4”x 6”) photos (18-24 photos for the 20”x 30” board and 25-35 photos for the 24”x 36” board). We do encourage that if you have a favorite/senior photo that you increase that size to a 5”x 7” to act as a focal point.

Senior Dinner
We'd like to honor our senior Jerome Hockey players by celebrating them at our annual Senior Dinner during Senior Week in early January.
Please see location/timing details and RSVP via the sign up genius sent to all senior player families in early December. Please also be sure to submit your payments via Venmo (@Jerome-Hockey) by 12/22.
Please plan to bring your senior boards to display at the dinner, as well. Thank you!
Varsity, Seniors, & Senior Dads Breakfast
Our senior players' dads will be preparing breakfast for all seniors and varsity players on Saturday, January 6th, at 9am. Please see email or team calendar for location details.

I reserve a half page for every Senior. You are welcome to design your own half page and submit it to me for the program. OR I am also happy to offer my design services free of charge. Either works for me. Samples attached.
Senior Ad Cost: $100 for half page ad OR free half-page ad for any golf package, program ad or sponsorship over $250. Please pay Boosters/Laura.
